Dr. Nic Peters
Board Certified Pediatrician
I care about your child’s well being and will provide you with guidance, knowledge, and tools needed to raise healthy children. I am here to help them achieve optimal wellness
Dr. Peters practices Integrative and Functional Medicine with a focus on health issues affecting children and young adults. He enjoys partnering with his patients and their families to determine underlying sources of dis-ease, then integratively treating by creating an individualized program that takes account of the whole person – body, mind, and spirit. He prescribes safe and effective, evidence-based treatments and dietary changes to seek optimum health for his patients.
Dr. Peters was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended Purdue University and Indiana University and obtained two Bachelor’s degrees. Dr. Peters pursued his love of travel and attended medical school at St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies. There he encountered a diverse student body and learned from professors from around the world. His clinical studies took him to Miami, Detroit, Indianapolis, Honduras, and the United Kingdom, where he saw the limits of what Western Medicine has to offer. Frustrated by the number of patients he saw with chronic illness from poor nutrition and lack of exercise, as well the little time physicians were able to spend with patients, he sought ways to restore health rather than just manage diseases through prescriptions.
